Life is Good...

You know those hats and shirts and stuff that say "Life is good" with some cute little doodle picture? I have always loved those, because whenever I see them I think--Yeah. Life IS good. No matter how bad things seem to get, if we take a step back and look at our blessings--they always seem to outweigh all the tough stuff.

Not sure why I have never bought me one of those...

Have I mentioned I LOVE being a stay-at-home mom? Love love love.

Emily coos at her toys. The more tired she gets, the more it sounds like yelling. But it's still cute. :)

As far as fitness news, I have been doing great! When I weighed myself this morning I was at 171.4! The lowest I've been for a long time! WOOHOO! 11.4 more pounds to go! :)

Also--when I did pilates yesterday I was able to touch my toes while doing the saw.

Boo.Yah.

Huh. Kirby is microwaving corn dogs right now, and they are whistling. What the...

And because posts are always better with a cute face...

Gratz! I'm excited for you. Life is good. I've been reading an e-mail from people down in Haiti and it makes me feel silly for some of the things I was stressing about today. "Waaah, my kids won't sleep." Oh, wait--these people don't have houses or food...hunh.

Congrats on the weight loss/adorable baby/goofy husband/awesome life! This may be corny and not entirely related to your post, but I, for one, appreciate how much you love being a mother. I find that WAY too many people I know spend more time complaining about how hard it is to be pregnant and have kids, and how much time it takes, and how they miss being able to do their own thing, and I always think, "Soooo . . . you love it, though, right?" It's not exactly encouraging to us not-yet-mothers to listen to their whining, and I LOVE when people are so madly in love with their kids and motherhood. It makes me look forward to it a heck of a lot more than after talking to the whiny-pantses about it.

And also, my first thought on seeing that first picture of Emily was, dang, I want to put her cheeks in my mouth. She is so cute :-)

Thanks everybody! I love when people comment on my posts! :) It makes me feel so loved.

Well, Amy, I'm down 30 pounds from where I weighed right before I had Emily, so I'm sure it's possible! :)

We missed having you around last night... It was pretty crazy, actually. We had me, Kirby, and Mark, and four kids under the age of 3! Hahaha. So crazy. But fun, too.

And Rachel--I have to fight the urge to chew on those cheeks myself. Every. Day. :)

And Sarah--Yes. We must play. I have to see this little boy of yours!
